So we went out apartment hunting today, in the Ft. Greene/Clinton Hill/Pratt area. And, OMG you won’t believe the steal we found on this one-bedroom — it’s over 1000 square feet, soooo cheep, and it’s even got skylights:
The good news: Pixie Smith learned her trade at Pratt. We’d practically be neighbors, a century and some change ago. I wonder if she still hangs out. Probably not.
Yeah. I think we need to expand our search parameters to include Bay Ridge and (*shriek*) Astoria.

That lot would be prime real estate in London - you could fit at least 10 half mil flats in there. Make your fortune as a land lady. >;-)
