halloween stuffs
There’s been a lot on my mind of late; it’s just that none of it is blog-appropriate. You-call-it-Halloween, We-call-it-Samhain, on the other hand, is very blog-appropriate. Here are a few things I’ve found in my travels:
1. The Samhain ish of The Anti-Craft is up and it features some neat stuff, like this hat right here:
Check it out.
2. Over on Etsy, we have a different kind of cool hat:
Cowabunga, dude. I need to reverse engineer that sucker. Or order one, which would be better.
3. Whilst browsing the CEOExpress (which, as you can imagine, is something I do every day — pfftahahaha), I stumbled upon the Edgar Allen Poe Collection of Susan Jaffe Tane at Cornell University. Here you’ll find digital scans of super-old Poe-iana, and some biographical information too. Did you know that the Raven was originally going to be a parrot? That’s kind of like Ben Franklin insisting that a turkey would be our best national bird. Nevermore…
4. I know I’ve mentioned this place before, but here it is again: Dragonfly Design Studio is your best bet for all your vintage Halloween hoo-ha.
5. Lastly, if you’re in the neighborhood on the 28th, swing by the New York Open Center for Kris Waldherr’s THE BOOK OF GODDESSES book l(re-)launch and and art exhibition opening, from 7:30-9:30. The New York Open Center is located at 83 Spring Street (that’s right off Broadway). Memo to self: mention on the Endicott Blog.
Also note that Kris has a ton of yummy stuff for sale, including this new Persephone print. Ooo!

That cool link to the Poe collection makes up for your neglect of us, your readers, lately.
Good luck on the talk!
